1. Verify that all parts are present.

















2. Remove both anti tippers.




















3. Remove the hub caps from the rear wheels.





















4. Remove the rear axle nuts from the rear wheels.



















5. Turn the chair on its front side and remove one of the rear wheels by removing the rear axle.

 
























6. Install one of the new axles into one of the new 20” rear wheels and through one of the axle spacers.  Install in the upper axle position and tighten.






























7. Install an axle nut on the new axle and tighten.  The axle has to be held in place while tightening the axle nut to prevent the axle from backing out. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7. Replace the two hub caps.
























8. Install both new anti tippers.




















9. Remove both dust caps.
































10. Remove one of the fork stem nuts and remove the fork and caster.  Repeat for the other fork and caster.





































11. Install one of the new 6” casters and forks through the caster housing.  Install the fork stem nut and tighten.  Repeat for the other 6” caster and fork.  Do not over tighten the fork stem nut. The caster and fork should swing freely, but not be loose in the caster housings.


































12. Install the dust caps.























13. If the wheelchair is not level the 6” caster have to be adjusted. Remove the caster axle nut and caster axle.  Position the caster in the other hole on the fork and install the caster axle and caster axle nut.  Repeat for the other caster.

























14. Slide the brake shoe extender over the brake shoe with the Allen screws facing down and tighten with the Allen wrench provided..



















15. Test the wheel lock to see if it properly engages.  If it does not loosen up the wheel lock and adjust the wheel lock.
