If the back will not recline or if it goes down by itself, the recliner cable may need an adjustment.

1. Loosen the cable stop.

2. Pull and hold the cable tight.  Make sure the cable stop is against the piston release bracket and tighten the cable stop.

If this doesn’t solve the problem the cylinder has to be replaced.
