1.  Remove the caster axle and move the caster to the top hole in the fork.  Install the caster axle and tighten. Repeat for the other caster.

2.  Pry the rear axle hub cap off the rear wheel, if so equipped, and remove the rear axle nut.

3.  Remove the rear wheel with the axle from the lower axle mounting hole and insert the axle in the upper axle mounting hole.

4.  Install the axle nut. Tighten to a point where there is no side to side movement of the wheel on the axle.  Install the axle cap.  Repeat for the other rear wheel.

5.  With the rear wheels in the hemi position the brakes will have to be adjusted because they will be too hard to apply.

Loosen the bolt that holds the brake onto the frame of the chair and move the brake forward about ¼”.

6.  Tighten the bolt that holds the brake onto the frame of the chair. Test the brake and adjust if needed.  Repeat for the other brake.
