1. Loosen the brake adjustment nut.
2. Now the brake can be slid in either direction.
3. Disengage the brake fully. Adjust the brake so there is about ¾” between the brake shoe and the tire.
4. The wheel should not turn when set correctly. If it still turns adjust the brake closer to the tires. If the brake it is extremely difficult to engage the brake, move the brake further from the tire. WHEN THE BRAKE IS PROPERLY ENGAGE THE TIRE CAN STILL SLIDE ON THE FLOOR.
